I recently went to the newly opened DVDs/CDs rental shop near my home, and rented the movie 'The Davil Wearing Prada.' The movie was very interesting and I enjoyed watching it more than I expected!
Especially, the supporting actress Emily Blunt was absolutely fantastic! I did a little bit of research about her and knew hat she was born in London. And I realized, yeah, I could tell she is a British because she speaks typical Londoner's accent. And, her father is a Barrister and her grandfather was a Member of Parliament! Wow. So it shows. RICHY UPPER MIDDLE CLASS Woman....
Anyways, speaking of fashion magazines and fashion industory, it's moving so fast that I don't think all girls can catch up. I used to buy a magazine called 'CLASSY' absolutely every month up until when I got transferred to a place where fashion has no status.
I like wearing nice shoes, nice clothes to make me look good. When I got my salary for the first time in life, I went shopping and bought Calvin Klein, Kate Spade New York, Paul Smith, Laura Asheley and all those expensive things and I felt like I am an independent fashionable uptown working woman in the modern era.
BUT, I lost my passion towards fashion since my work place has changed. I lost mitivation in making myself look good. That made me less feminine I guess...
but I think now I am closer to who I really am. I tend to imitate romantic-comedy-like fashion and think myself like I'm the main cast of my life, but I stop now because I can't be more than what I am. My income and PRADA wouldn't proportionate. Never ever.
True happiness is not money nore fashion. The true beauty comes out from inside.
And that was the ending of this movie.
Good lesson.
